Frequently Asked Questions
All of the other events (besides Masters and Legends) are divided into 5 year age groups. Instead of having an "Open" division for Men's and Women's Doubles where all the ages are in one group, and 80 year olds are playing 50 year olds, we split it into two ranges Masters, 50-64, and Legends, 65+. Again this is ONE event. The age of the younger partner determines whether you play in the Masters group or the Legends group.
Yes. A person can enter their age group doubles, mixed doubles, masters or legends, and singles. These events are played on separate days.
Yes. For the doubles events, you can play with a different partner in the age group event and either Masters or Legends. You cannot play with two different partners in the same event. Master/Legends is one event split into two groups instead of 5 year age groups. You either play in Masters or Legends based on the younger partners age.
Per senior game rules, if there is only one entry in an age group, the group will be combined with an adjoining group, The player/team will be awarded a gold medal, but they must play at least one match.
