Volunteers
The Arizona Senior Olympics cannot happen without the many volunteers that work all year to support the games. Listed below are the committees and descriptions of these groups:
| Management Team | Help to advise and coordinate the overall pickleball event. This group is composed of representatives throughout the state and communicate via email with occasional meetings. |
| Event Directors & Assistant Event Directors | These volunteers direct the operations of the games at each venue during play. They determine which matches will be played next, which courts, assign referees, and make announcements. |
| Court Clerks | These volunteers man the event desk performing all the necessary paperwork to keep the games flowing: score sheets, recording results, posting results, and handling check-in procedures. |
| Referee Director(s) & Referees | ASO has been a leader with referee training and having all matches supervised by a referee and lines-people for medal matches. The Referee Director(s) handle training and scheduling referees for play each day. Many of the referees are also participants that donate their time during the games. |
| Players Committee | This committee is composed of players throughout the state who are very knowledgable of the game and players. They determine the final seedings and make recommendations to the Management Team. |
| AED/CPR Personnel | ASO has also been a leader having medical personnel on duty throughout the games in case of an emergency. |
| Information/Greeters | Help players and spectators with information and location of various facilities |
| Refreshments | Help with refreshments for the players (donations, etc) |
